Me…
I’m a sculptor and interior designer based in Austin, Texas. I create spatially responsive works that explore material, proportion, and presence, informed by over two decades of experience in the built environment and ongoing work through True Interiors. My practice is rooted in clay and often incorporates other materials that carry both structure and memory.
I approach each piece with a sensitivity to space, balance, and the way objects interact with their surroundings. My design background shapes how I see—how I work with light, texture, and form—and continues to inform my sculptural practice today.
I build by hand. I move slowly. I look for what’s essential.
Each piece begins with form and evolves through process. Whether mounted, stacked, or suspended, my work is about finding clarity through material—refined but not overly polished, intentional but not rigid. I’m drawn to the tension between permanence and change, stillness and movement, structure and openness.
I’m currently focused on a series of sculptural forms that explore these ideas through rhythm, texture, and light.
